देशभर में साइबर अपराधियों ने ऑनलाइन ठगी का एक नया और खतरनाक तरीका अपनाया है। नौकरी की तलाश कर रहे लोगों को बड़ी और प्रतिष्ठित कंपनियों के नाम पर आकर्षक जॉब ऑफर भेजे जा रहे हैं। इसके बाद उम्मीदवारों को वीडियो कॉल या ऑनलाइन इंटरव्यू के लिए बुलाया जाता है, जहां फेस वेरिफिकेशन, आई स्कैनिंग या बायोमेट्रिक सत्यापन के नाम पर उनका चेहरा और आंखों का डेटा एकत्र किया जाता है। साइबर सुरक्षा सलाहकार रितेश कुमार ने चेतावनी दी है कि यह जानकारी भविष्य में डिजिटल पहचान की चोरी और बैंकिंग धोखाधड़ी के लिए इस्तेमाल की जा सकती है।
रितेश कुमार के अनुसार, साइबर ठग पहले नौकरी का झांसा देकर लोगों का विश्वास जीतते हैं। इंटरव्यू की प्रक्रिया को पूरी तरह पेशेवर और वास्तविक दिखाया जाता है ताकि उम्मीदवार को किसी प्रकार का संदेह न हो। इंटरव्यू के दौरान उम्मीदवार से कैमरे के सामने अलग-अलग एंगल से चेहरा दिखाने, आंखों की गतिविधि रिकॉर्ड कराने या तथाकथित केवाईसी प्रक्रिया पूरी करने के लिए कहा जाता है। यही डेटा बाद में आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) तकनीक की मदद से नकली डिजिटल पहचान तैयार करने में उपयोग किया जाता है।
साइबर विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि अपराधी इस तकनीक का उपयोग बैंक खातों तक पहुंच बनाने, मोबाइल नंबर बदलवाने, ई-केवाईसी को बायपास करने और अन्य वित्तीय धोखाधड़ी को अंजाम देने के लिए कर सकते हैं। कई मामलों में पीड़ितों को तब तक पता नहीं चलता जब तक उनके खाते से पैसे नहीं निकल जाते।
गृह मंत्रालय के अधीन कार्यरत भारतीय साइबर अपराध समन्वय केंद्र (I4C) ने भी ऐसे फर्जी जॉब इंटरव्यू और भर्ती घोटालों को लेकर लोगों को सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी है। एजेंसी ने कहा है कि नौकरी के नाम पर मांगी जाने वाली अनावश्यक निजी जानकारी, बायोमेट्रिक डेटा या बैंकिंग विवरण साझा करने से बचना चाहिए।
रितेश कुमार ने लोगों को दिए ये महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव:
- किसी भी नौकरी के ऑफर की पुष्टि कंपनी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट से करें।
- केवल आधिकारिक ईमेल डोमेन जैसे @companyname.com से प्राप्त मेल पर ही भरोसा करें।
- इंटरव्यू के दौरान चेहरे, आंखों या अन्य बायोमेट्रिक स्कैन की मांग होने पर सतर्क हो जाएं।
- किसी भी परिस्थिति में बैंक खाते, डेबिट कार्ड, ओटीपी या अन्य संवेदनशील जानकारी साझा न करें।
- सोशल मीडिया या मैसेजिंग ऐप के जरिए मिलने वाले संदिग्ध जॉब ऑफर की जांच अवश्य करें
यदि कोई व्यक्ति इस प्रकार की ठगी का शिकार हो जाता है, तो उसे तुरंत राष्ट्रीय साइबर अपराध हेल्पलाइन 1930 पर संपर्क करना चाहिए या भारत सरकार के साइबर अपराध पोर्टल पर शिकायत दर्ज करानी चाहिए। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि समय पर शिकायत दर्ज कराने से नुकसान की भरपाई और अपराधियों तक पहुंचने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है।

One of the latest scams involves fake job interviews designed to steal biometric information such as facial scans, eye scans, and other personal data. In this fraud scheme, scammers contact job seekers through email, social media, messaging applications, or job portals. Legitimate organizations generally do not require extensive biometric verification during initial recruitment stages. Any request for unnecessary personal data should be treated as a warning sign. Candidates should also avoid clicking unknown links or downloading files from unverified sources.
